Dear Students,
You may have seen the following announcement:
|
K-State Family hosting Unity Walk and KSUnite All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to commit to diversity, inclusion and equity at an historic rally. The K-State Unity Walk and KSUnite will be from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14. All classes and offices will be closed during that time. |
The School of Music, Theatre, and Dance will honor this campus closure. We are highly committed to diversity, inclusion, and equity. By now you likely know that our season themes are Identity, Community, and Responsibility. Ebony Theater has been in recent discussion about upcoming events to share this message widely. Only you will know how you feel most comfortable bringing more unity to our campus. When it comes to activism, YOU decide- you may want to rally, march, walk, or write emails and letters to the paper, or you may even make art. Participation is your choice. Find the way that makes you feel the most comfortable and let’s be grateful for a university that is committing to unity.
