Internships are an important and integral part of your development as a Theatre practitioner, regardless if you are a designer, technician or performer. Not only do you gain practical experience, you learn the folkways of theatre and develop important professional relationships. These experiences are key in your development as a practitioner.
Join us for an internship roundtable tomorrow. Learn from K-State students the value of internships, how to get one, what to expect, etc. You will hear about Shakespeare festivals, musical theatre events, backstage work, scene shop work, performing in a musical, wig creation, low budget filmmaking, and screenplay evaluation. . . . along with a few other things.
We hope to see you tomorrow at 12.30 in Chapman.!
