Barrier Free Theatre: “Reunited: A Tale of 2 Planets” April 15-17

The Barrier-Free Theatre is an original production with music created each year by students in the drama therapy program and individuals with disabilities from the Manhattan, Kansas community.  This year’s play “Reunited: A Tale of 2 Planets” is performing Friday, April 15 at 7:30, Saturday, April 16 at 7:30, and Sunday, April 17 at 2:00 in the Purple Masque Theatre.  Tickets are $5.00 and are on sale this week at the Department of Parks and Recreation in the City Hall.

The show has a King, a Queen, Jedi Knights, Sith Warriors, Space Travelers, Mind Readers, Blubs, and many other outlandish characters.  It will fulfill your Science Fiction addiction until the next Star Wars movie comes out!

K-State students involved in the production are Olivia Bennett, Ellen Burke, Funmi Cole, Ryan Dillon, Alyssa Frey, Maggie Glazier, Hannah King,  Sammi Moore,  Hannah Munson, Michael Rogers, Abigail St. Clare, Tim Tarkelly, Hannah Rockey, and Soekie Woolls. The play is directed by Sally Bailey and musical direction is by Teri Holmberg.

This is the first show that Barrier-Free Theatre has done on the K-State campus since 2003!
