Tonight, August 26 6:30pm-10:30pm Cattle call audition (all Theatre majors & minors in performance) in Chapman Theatre.
Please sign up for an audition time in McCain 109. A cattle call is an open audition. Performers are seen briefly before a panel of directors. This is a common type of mass audition for film, television, and broadway shows. We do this to give you the experience and to keep track of your progress.Cattle call is MANDATORY for theater majors, minors, theatre graduate students, and musical theatre majors with an emphasis in performance. It is optional, though encouraged, for non-majors interested in being cast in a show.Prepare a one minute monologue. You may also prepare 16 bars from your musical theatre repertoire. An accompanist will be available. Please bring sheet music. If you have nothing prepared, a selection will be available for you to read instead.
