Tim Aumiller currently works as the Director of Casting and Training at the international theatre organization Blue Man Group. He began writing, directing and producing theatre in New York in 2000 and founded NO HOPE Productions with collaborator Scott Schneider in the fall of 2003. NO HOPE has presented and staged two full-length musicals, DOSE! and HELLO, MY NAME IS BILLY (a Backstage Critic’s Pick) four plays including, FLIGHT (also a Backstage Critic’s Pick), OVER AND OVER (which was part of the NY International Fringe Festival’s Encore series), and the critically lauded LUKE NICHOLAS. They have presented ten cabarets of new music including their recent sold out 10th anniversary show PULLING THE PLUG: A DECADE OF NO HOPE at the legendary Joe’s Pub. Their work has appeared in such celebrated New York venues as the Cherry Lane Theater, Le Poisson Rouge as well as numerous shows at the Duplex Cabaret Theatre. In the fall of 2014, they will publish their first songbook of thirteen original songs written over the past decade. Currently they are at work on their 4th full length musical, TEACH ME TO SING.
John Ort is the Manager of Casting at ABC Primetime NY casting series regulars for numerous pilots and currently running series as well as some episodic casting for both ABC TV Network and ABC Studios. This past pilot season he was the NY covering CD on Secrets & Lies, Unt. Anthony Anderson Project, The Pro and Save The Date. In addition he has recently worked on current series such as Grey’s Anatomy, Modern Family, Nashville, Devious Maids and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He oversees the casting and production of the annual Disney | ABC Talent Diversity Showcase in NY and takes part in the mentoring program for the actors. Independent projects include Luke Nicholas (Fringe ’13), Ready For the Change (April ’12), Hello, My Name Is Billy (Fringe ’11), Over and Over (Fringe ’10) and Flight (Fringe ’09). He has also worked with Sig De Miguel and Stephen Vincent on feature films Rabbit Hole and Meskada.
