K-State Dance students found themselves with a rare opportunity to perform alongside world-class professionals in a McCain Performance Series concert on March 26-27 thanks to faculty connections, cross-campus collaboration, and funding from the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance’s QuVee Mock Masterclass Series.
Dance Program Director Kate Digby, who apprenticed and performed with the Bill T. Jones / Arnie Zane Company in the late ‘90s said “It has been a dream of mine to bring the company to work with K-State Dance students since my arrival in Manhattan. Their ground-breaking work has stretched the boundaries of contemporary dance for decades and continues to teach us what it means to be human.”
This life-changing applied learning experience was made possible by funding from the QuVee Mock Masterclass Series and a unique partnership with McCain Auditorium.
