Dr. Jamie Bunce, Acting Director of Choral Studies at the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, has partnered with Santa Barbara Music Press to publish a new arrangement of the traditional morris dance tune “Katy Cruel.”
This thrilling new arrangement of a traditional Morris tune is a rip-roaring delight for advanced treble ensembles. Bursting with rhythmic energy, it invites stomping, clapping, and even optional costumes or movement for an engaging concert experience. SSAA ensembles will feel energized and empowered performing this joyful tune!
The international February 2026 release features a brightly-costumed video of the Kansas State University Treble Chorus performance of the work, with Dr. Bunce on the podium.
