Graduate Oboe Quartet to Perform World Premieres at 2025 International Double Reed Convention

The KSU Graduate Oboe Quartet, the “Little Apple Quartet,” will perform a recital of world premiere musical works in June at the 2025 International Double Reed Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Little Apple Quartet is comprised of members:

Natalie Myers (current PhD Curriculum and Instruction, Oboe Performance Emphasis)
Lucas Reed (current MM, Oboe Performance Emphasis)
Kelsey Farr (current MM, Oboe Performance Emphasis)
Colby Stevens (MM ’24, current UMKC AD Oboe Performance/MM Musicology)

The quartet will perform world premiere works by internationally acclaimed composers Reena Esmail and Grace Baugher Dunlap, and they will perform new compositions by members of the quartet Natalie Myers and Lucas Reed.

The Little Apple Quartet is comprised of the students of Dr. Alyssa Morris, Associate Professor of Oboe, Kansas State University.
