Hello everyone! My name is Michael Larson, and I will be the leader for the Basics of Drag Workshop group! This group will be a group of 8-10 individuals, regardless of gender identity and sexuality, who will explore the basics of drag performance. We will look at the roots of where drag came from and how we are all in some form of drag in our everyday lives!
This group will be a way for people to find themselves in their creative expression as well as being able to work on owning a stage! At the end of the group in April, we will host a drag show where members of the group will be able to perform their own drag number and show the world their newfound drag persona!
These sessions will start on Saturday February 12th and will run every Saturday (excluding March 12 and 19th) until April 30th from 12-2PM!
If you are interested in joining this group, please fill out the Google Form attached below by Feb 8th.
I am trying to keep this group to about 10 members, so first come first serve! If enough people sign up, then a second group will be formed!
For more information, please email me at Michaellarson56@ksu.edu Thank you so much and I hope to see you all soon!
