You may have seen the following from President Myers:
“At this time, K-State is considering several options, including opening on Aug. 17 as planned, delaying the on-campus opening with an online start, or moving completely online for the fall semester.”
He is asking for the whole community to use face coverings and physical distancing, and to uphold consistent rules across the county, city, and surrounding communities.
The campus is preparing for an Aug. 17 start. Faculty and students have the agency to choose whether they are in class face-to-face, online, or in a hybrid model. In some cases our spaces are not deemed appropriate for the work we do. These determinations are not finalized yet. There have been a lot of questions, but we don’t have all of the answers just yet. Faculty should be reaching out to their classes sometime after August 9th to let you know their plan.
We look forward to connecting with you again. But we want to do it safely.
