Hi all! It’s that time of year already–A Number opens in just a couple of weeks, and we could use some assistance in construction and painting. The big build day is going to be this Sunday, Feb. 5 starting at 1:00 pm and going until either we get tired or done (probably around 7:00 or 8:00). We will be working in the Purple Masque. Come in through the Drama Therapy entrance (side doors).
Jordyn Coons is the set designer and she’s come up with a very cool design that should be a lot of fun to put together, so come out and build community along with some scenery. I (Kathy) will be there as well, and there might even be snacks.
You don’t need any particular skills. There will be plenty to do no matter what your abilities–construction, painting, moving things, holding things–we’ll make sure you are a useful part of the team! Just please remember to wear appropriate footwear–tennis shoes or other closed-toe hard sole shoes are fine–and clothes you can move in that you don’t mind getting paint on.
