Hello all,
I am the current President of the Veterans Student Organization here at K-State. My organization is currently looking to put on a zombie 5k on the morning of October 31st. This 5k will help us raise money for the Boys and Girls club of Manhattan Kansas. I am reaching out to you to see if there would be any interest helping us throw a successful 5k in the following ways.
-Needs-
- Actors
- Makeup artists
- and most importantly…General Awesomeness
As of now the plan is to start the 5k at 10:00 AM. I am in talks with Big Brothers Big Sisters to see if our original plan of having their children be the zombies (to make it fun for them) but i will still need some scary zombies too! I am currently getting the route figured out with facilities as well as working on getting 101.5 KRock to come out to the event.
