WOOLLY MAMMOTH THEATRE COMPANY, a leader in new play development based in Washington, DC, seeks innovative, ambitious and dedicated candidates for 2017/18 Fellows.

Positions available in the areas of artistic, production and administration. Fellows are paid a weekly travel stipend. Part time interns are reimbursed for travel. We offer fellowships and internships in various areas. These positions are well suited to graduate students looking for real world experience in running a professional theatre company or someone recently out of a college or training program, but of course everyone is welcome to apply. Internship positions are part-time, semester-long, usually 25-30 hours a week. Fellowship positions are full-time and are either semester- or season-long. We do not offer summer positions.
As a fellow / intern at Woolly Mammoth, you will…
Work intimately with Woolly’s leadership, senior staff, and members of your department or area.
Work independently and collaboratively with your departmental colleagues on short- and long-term projects.
Interact with Woolly staff, board and visiting artists, as well as members of the dynamic theatre community in the DC-metropolitan area.
Receive free tickets to all Woolly Mammoth productions.
Attend special events at Woolly Mammoth including opening and closing night parties as well as the annual benefit.
Have the opportunity to attend rehearsals of Woolly productions.
Housing is not provided. Interns are reimbursed for local transportation for up to $25/week. Fellows are provided a transportation stipend of $50/week.
