Please note that THTRE 630, Sec C: New Play Development for spring 2018, taught by Jen, has changed meeting time from 9:30-10:45am T/Th TO 2:30-3:45pm T/Th. The class explores the process of taking a new play from the development phase to production with projects that include research on institutional and innovative theatre companies and theatre for social justice and civic engagement. While this class is appropriate for students interested in all areas of theatre, it is particularly geared for students with interests in writing, directing, dramaturgy, and producing.
