K-State Theatre: Student Development Fund

Theatre Excursion to Kansas City: Sept. 12-15, 2014

During the summer of 2014, the K-State Theatre Student Development fund was established by an anonymous donor. It is to be used for professional development for students in the last three semesters of their undergraduate degree experience to fund travel related to research & creative activity (including but not limited to theatre tickets, flights, lodging and other travel expenses). These funds will be used without restriction to race, gender, national origin, religion, age, sexual orientation or disability.

The first student development trip is an excursion to attend live theatre in Kansas City. The fund will cover the cost of transportation to and from Kansas City, hotel accommodations (3-4 students per room), and theatre tickets to four different Theatre productions, plus one lunch. All other meals and any incidentals will be the responsibility of each student. Up to twelve students may participate in this excursion. Students must be in the last three semesters of their undergraduate degree experience to apply.

An application form will be implemented for future excursions, but due to the quick turnaround on this trip, please apply by including the following information in an email addressed to Jennifer Vellenga at vellenga@ksu.edu:
