Theater of War: Soliders & Citizens Tour at Emporia State University Nov. 7

Kansas State University’s Staley School of Leadership Studies, Research and Extension, and Institute for the Health and Secruity of Military Families are encouraging those who work with servicemembers, veterans and their families to attend and/or promote the Theater of War: Soliders & Citizens Tour at Emporia State University on Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. This free dramatic readings of Sophocles’ Ajax is being offered to diverse military and civialian audiences to engage communities in a powerful town hall discussions about visible and invisable wounds of war.

Chris Henry Coffey from The Good Wife and Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Jennifer Mudge from Boss, Rocky and Into the Woods will be the actors performing for this event.  Their presentations are intended to foster understanding and compassion, while mobilizing citizens and resources to help improve the lives of service members, veterans and their families and communities.
