SYNOPSIS

This psychological mystery is set in the waiting room of a clinic where five mothers await word on the futures of their retarded children. AUDITION INFO

Monkey Monkey is a very character-heavy script. If possible, please have a dramatic monologue prepared for the audition. It is not required, but it is heavily encouraged that you come with one. Actors will be asked to perform from various two-person sides from the play and will be given time to prepare those beforehand as part of the main audition. Actors may be asked to do a cold reading as well which will be either one-person or two-person. READ THE PLAY or you will not have a good grasp on the characters. This is a play in which it is very easy to spot someone who has not read it. Come with choices that you are ready to share; come with your imagination ready to explore; come with your mind open and willing to learn.
