KSTO Officer Nominations

By April 25, 2017KSTO

First off, congratulations and welcome to all of the new active members of the Kansas State Theatre Organization – we are so happy to have you!

Now that you are official, it is time to start the process of electing next year’s officers.

Below are the responsibilities of our elected positions; president, vice president and secretary. If you would like to be considered for a position, please send Gabby an email outlining the position you would like to be considered for, and why. If you would like to nominate someone for a position please send those names to Gabby, as well. In order to be applicable for a position, you must send in a proposal and be nominated.

President – responsible for running weekly meetings, communicating with the faculty advisor, planning KSTO workshops, and overseeing all organization events.

Vice President – responsible for planning KSTO Banquet and other events and filling in for the president in the case of an absence.

Secretary – responsible for taking weekly meeting notes, scheduling times and locations for events, and tracking everything KSTO.

Officer Eligibility Requirements:
1) Inducted into KSTO by participating in enough KSTO and theatre department events
2) At least one year of school left to serve (someone set to graduate in December may not be a KSTO officer).

Please email Gabby Browne (gabbybrowne13@ksu.edu) with any nominations and proposals by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, April 28th.

Gabby has a massive accounting test tomorrow, so she probably will not respond to emails until after her exam. She will let you know if you have been nominated, and from there, you can decide if you would like to write a proposal.
