Several faculty members and students are spending the week at The Region 5 Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) in Lincoln, NE.
Four K-State students and their partners are moving on to the semi-final round of the Irene Ryan Acting Competition. 325 actors in the region competed for 64 spots in the semifinals. Elise Poehling (with Kyle Myers), Alex Gaines (with Ellyn Calvert), BeckiJo Neill (with Mat Ellis) and Nahshon Ruffin (with Erika Williams) will compete tomorrow to be included among the 16 finalists in the region. We wish them much success!
In addition, K-State’s production of The Music Man won certificates of merit from the region in the areas of directing & choreography!
