Seeking intern!
Beyond the Wall, an international arts and culture festival, seeks a producing/theatre management intern. Beyond the Wall is using 15 foot tall puppets to stage a political, artistic provocation at the border wall between the US and Mexico this November by sponsoring a festival and art exhibit on both sides of the border in Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Sonora, MX. Responsibilities include PR research, website management, and administrative tasks. Must be comfortable with Excel, Google suite and (ideally) Squarespace (no coding ability required). The ideal candidate is a student in theatre management, producing, or experimental theatre, can work independently, and is attentive to detail. The commitment is 3-5 hours per week starting ASAP through November 30th (dates can be extended to accommodate school term). All work can be done remotely. (Producer is based in NY.)
Opportunity to work with an experienced international theatre producer on a project with potential for major political impact. No stipend is available at this time, but producer is happy to work with university to arrange credit.
