Supported by an Arts & Sciences New Faculty Initiative Award, a Provost’s Academic Excellence Award, and the K-State Foundation, Theatre Faculty Jennifer Vellenga will be directing a world premiere Off Broadway production of Fashionistas by Janet Allard August 8-18, 2012 at The Theater at 30th Street (Urban Stages) in New York City. Vellenga is being joined by Theatre Design Faculty, Kathy Voecks & Dana Pinkston; Scene Shop Supervisor, George Matthews; Acting Faculty, Dwight Tolar; and Dance Faculty Julie Pentz & Neil Dunn. A small group of students will be traveling to New York to support the production in a variety of ways.
