On Friday, December 1, Ebony Theater is hosting their inaugural “First Friday” from 9-10pm in the Purple Masque Lobby in West Memorial Stadium. This new monthly arts-infused social gathering gives a variety of performers a chance to share their work while attendees gather for conversation and refreshments. Each month a multicultural student organization is honored. Daijah Porchia will emcee this Friday, honoring the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Featured performers include the Wakim Jazz Trio, vocalist, Zanaiya Peebles, dancer, Ericka Woods, Flint Hills Playback Theatre Company, and a screening of Wildcat Cuts’ “The Taste of Vengeance,” directed by Safiya Woodard. All are welcome.
