Becky Shaw takes place during the familial drama between Susan, Suzanna, and their adopted relative Max when their father passes away. This familial drama also incorporates the fiendishly off-color comedy of the three and their love lives which includes infidelity, mystery, and blackmail.

Initial auditions will be during open/cattle call auditions on Tuesday, Aug. 22 from 7-10:30pm in Chapman Theatre, see post HERE. During callbacks on Wednesday from 6:00-10:30pm in Nichols 017, please be prepared to read sides from the script, so please read the script beforehand and be familiar with it. Reading copies of the script are available in McCain 109.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
Max – Male, dominating adopted brother of Suzanna and son of Susan, he’s a rich banker that has a commanding presence over every situation around him
Suzanna – Female, sister of Max and daughter of Susan, she’s a psychologist who appreciates when people are emotionally honest, she is endlessly devoted to Max.
Susan – Female, matriarch of her family who stays in control with her demanding personality and brutal honesty.
Becky – Female, the eclectic and nervous coworker of Andrew who dates Max. Her recent experiences make her uncertain about her future.
Andrew – Male, Suzanna’s hippie “all natural” husband, very in touch with his emotions, but has no control over his life.
