Aggieville’s 125th Birthday Street Fair and Dance

Get excited… it’s Aggieville’s 125th birthday, and we’re throwing the biggest birthday party this town has ever seen!

On Saturday, September 20, 2014, the best couple of blocks in Kansas is hosting a “125th Birthday Celebration Street Fair and Dance.” What better way to thank the community for their support over the years than by inviting them to bring their family and friends down to Aggieville for an amazing day (and, of course, late-night celebrations as well!)? It’ll be a day full of activities for the whole family, including a Mini Maker Faire (think county fair meets science fair, or “the greatest show-and-tell on Earth”; see www.makerfaire.com for more info), a kids’ carnival, an antique car show, a State Fair Food Cook-Off, an ice cream social, a giant donut birthday cake, bands and local performance groups entertaining on stage all day, and historical events dedicated to Kansas’ oldest business district… all leading up to the main event, a street dance!
